Nyla Holder
Miss Jr Teen Purchase District
I am Nyla Holder, your 2022 Miss Jr. Teen Purchase District and the 2021 Crown of Excellence recipient. I am in the 7th grade at Lone Oak Middle School and can't wait to start school in the fall in our new school. My hobbies include playing the guitar, ukulele and singing. I also enjoy painting, skateboarding, skating, fishing and volunteering.
The platform I have chosen is Book For Hope. Book For Hope is a non-profit that helps families with children going through cancer treatments. They also lobby at the state level for more funding for pediatric cancer research. I have volunteered with them for three years and have loved every minute. I can't wait to spread their mission and help them help more families.
